It’s a destination where food feels thoughtfully prepared, portions are just right, and the service makes you feel like a valued guest every single time.
Probably the third or fourth time I've been here. Food has always been great. Definitely a little something different when you can get Mexican food and Italian food at the same restaurant and they're both very good.. if you're in the area I'm looking to eat. I would highly recommend it is one of my parents favorites and has become 1 of mine for the area.
Decent place. Good friendly service. Lots of options including veggie options. They are willing to make adjustments for dietary needs which is always appreciated. Food portions are good. Not too big but not too small either. They do offer some Italian dishes too but we stayed mostly with the Mexican dishes. Enough street side parking
Their food is insanely good! Today I had a mushroom and cheese omelette and French toast and they were very delicious! The other day when I found this place, their vegetarian “Super Burrito” was so delicious, I had to order another one despite how massive the burritos were on account of how good it was. The service was very prompt and friendly both times I went here, and they respectfully haven’t even commented about me eating 3+ pounds of food each time I visit. lol Their prices are totally fair for their portion sizes and for the quality!
The service here was exceptional. I got enchiladas, it came with a salad. The salad was delicious & big! My husband got a burrito. Both our meals were very good. This place isn't as crowded as most of the other places. This is our 3rd year vacationing in Cayucos & our first time at Martin's. We will be back!! They also have Italian food. I'll try lasagna next time!
Maybe they do it different in Cayucos but upon setting down we were not met with chips & salsa. We ordered drinks and then food and then was it was offered. Wierd. Anyways the servers were very nice. The food was pretty good nothing extra special 8.5/10. They did add a mandatory gratuity/tip of %20 percent for a group of 7 which whatever no big deal. But it was hidden on the tag and should have been explained better. Ive seen people double tip because they aren’t aware that it’s already included. Im sure restaurants are aware if this and appreciate the double tips when people don’t know better.
I am leaving a review for my wife and daughter who went there on a trip without me. They loved the Mexican food (Chile Verde burrito/enchilada). Staff were very friendly.
We visited while on a trip with family. We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The service was excellent. Coffee good, potatoes, beans, french toast, pancakes, huevos rancheros, americano, breakfast enchiladas were all good! It is close to home cooking! We definately recommend and would eat again. Prices were good, as expected for the area, not outrageous. Restaurant is spacious too.
